As sneaker prices continue to climb, the world’s most expensive shoe will officially be unveiled this week.
Customizer Mache has teamed up with New York’s Bicion to produce a one-of-one Li-Ning Way of Wade 4 “Chinese New Year,” stylized with white diamonds and blue sapphires set in 18k gold. According to Complex, the shoes will also include a solid gold hang tag.
The unveiling and official appraisal will take place at a invite-only press event in the city, with all proceeds from sales going to non-profit Soles4Souls.
