We had a moment to link up with the Sunnyvale, native to talk about the new project and more…

1) What keeps you motivated when it comes to your music?

When I get messages from fans about what one of my songs or the whole album did for them is what I do it for. I started doing music almost as my public diary, it was how I expressed myself so knowing that it is helping someone get through something is what it’s all about.

2) What comes to mind when you think of “Vintage Media Group”?

A dope hip-hop website/blog that wants to help upcoming artists really get out there.

3) Since you are from Sunnyvale, California what is the state of Hip-Hop there? How would you title your style of music?

Honestly, Sunnyvale doesn’t really have its own music scene I would say it’s part of the whole San Jose music scene. San Jose kind of holds ground for all the little cities around it. It’s kind of hard to put a title to my music because I do so much different types. If I had to really put one to it, it would probably be Dark Boom Bap. I only say that because recently that’s what people have been referencing me as!

4) With your most recent project “Do or Die” can you give us some details on how you came up with the idea for the project?

A little over a year ago I went through a really hard time with whether I was going to keep doing music. I really had lost what I was doing this for almost like it was a job instead of doing it because I loved it. I say that because I got so wrapped up in making the types of songs that other people wanted me to make instead of what I wanted to make. So when I came out of that, I knew I was going all in at this point. So I came up with “Do or Die” this is it I’m doing this not holding back anymore. I’m putting it all on the line quit my day job, stop wasting time, and stop not believing that I can really do this.

5) Where can your fans & supporters find you online? Via Twitter, Facebook, etc.?

6) Who are some of your influences?

I would say my biggest influences are Eminem, Hopsin, Merkules, and 2Pac.

7) Any Last Remarks?

I just want to give a shoutout to my fans, family, friends, and my team without any of them I wouldn’t be able to do this. They are honestly who keep me going and keep me from giving up!
