Afropop King Chai Tulani has been nominated for a Chicago Music Award for the third consecutive year in the category of “best African entertainer”. “Third times the charm,” says The “ Rebxl” superstar in an interview he did with one of our head journalists here at Vintage Media Group. After speaking to a number of voters and vendors of the CMA’s, it remains clear that Chai Tulani has been a very prominent artist in the Chicago music scene. It is no surprise to us that he’s been nominated so many times. The CMA Nominee has released countless singles, 8 albums with a 9th one dropping on Sept 15th and 2 Ep’s. The singer has also sold out several venues in the city of Chicago including AMFM (now closed) and Schuba’s in 2017. He’s also toured nationally and internationally and has been an opening act for artists such as Wyclef Jean, Jay Electronica, LION BABE, GLC, The Original Wailors, and Skip Marley.
