VMG Had A Moment To Sit Down And Talk About The DOPE New Single & More…
1) What keeps you motivate when it comes to your music?
Definitely all the ideas I have that I want to share with the world and with my listeners. Plus the fact that this is an industry with limitless opportunities, you just have to keep yourself motivated.
2) When you think of “Vintage Media Group”, what comes to mind?
First thing I think of is of a music collective with a lot of dope old school sounds.
3) Being that you are from Miami, What is the state of Hip-Hop there? How would you title your style of music?
I mean right now most Florida rappers make this grungy rock-like rap that you could rage to and then there’s the trap side as well. Florida is just so diverse you can’t really pin a specific style to us. For instance, I wouldn’t fall under any of the above mentioned categories. I just like making music that creates a vibe and sounds that are pleasant to your ear.
4) With your most recent music single “LIKE ME” is Crazy NICE, I Really Like It… can you give us some details on how you came up with that song?
Well, a couple girls from my past inspired it. I just wanted to tell a story about my recent experiences with women and that’s what inspired me to make “Like Me”.
5) Where can your fans & supporters find you online? Via Twitter, Facebook, etc.?
Best way to keep up with me is through my Twitter, you guys can follow me @linglinglive and of course my SoundCloud is the vault for all my music and the link for that is SoundCloud.com/linglinglive
As far as Instagram, I recently started utilizing it more so it’s still young but if you like my music or your a cute shorty you can follow me there @livefromdade lol
6) Who are some of your influences?
I have a couple influences.
Old school – Tupac, for his presence and his ability to always be so blunt and precise with his words.
New school – Drake, besides all the hate he gets he is one of the most successful artists of his era. He’s just all around inspiring.
Up and coming – Russ, if you guys haven’t heard of him yet you will in a bit. He’s one of the main reasons I started taking this serious.
7) Any Last Remarks?
Just don’t sleep on the kid, a lot of new sounds coming soon, a lot of different vibes coming soon.
