Megan Good along with LaLa Anthony presented the award for best gospel artist at last night’s BET Awards. Considering her ties with BET we can see why she is a presenter and considering that she is married to film exec / preacher Devon Franlin, Good was more than fitting to present the award. Congratulations to Mary Mary on winning the category but it was Megan Good’s dress that stole the moment. The dress designed by Michael Costello was a royal blue number that exposed her cleavage and was cut down to her navel, along with a thigh high split. The gown had some resemblance to the memorable green Versace gown J.Lo wore to the Grammy’s in 2000. Within the last 24 hours I have heard and seen more negative remarks towards Megan’s dress selection. We’ve seen plenty of daring dresses worn by celebs on the red carpet, showing
cleavage and legs is nothing new. Is it that people honestly believe that the gown was too sexy or is she facing so much scrutiny because of her position as a preacher’s wife?
