“Little Hearts” was a difficult song to write, as it brings her back to a terrible and traumatic past. As an adult, Pinqy started unpacking that past by finally seeking therapy after realizing how much childhood sexual abuse at the hands of two different men in the church still affected her. This year she became ready to share her pain with her family first, then friends, then fan base, and now the world.
