Charlottesville Rapper EerieG (Cameron Hornsby) releases his 14th track following the success of his previous projects. Riding a wave of streams coming mostly from his song Bankai, which has garnished 2.4M on Soundcloud, EerieG continues to put out new music nearly weekly!

We had a moment to sit down with EerieG to talk about “Games” and more.

1) What keeps you motivated when it comes to your music?

I just love music. I think just the joy of being around people and the craft itself keeps me going. There is nothing more creative than music.

2) When you think of “Vintage Media Group”, what comes to mind?

Vintage is a staple of the music news world, so hearing the name makes me think about success and positivity. When I think about the word Vintage, I think about a long lasting footprint.

3) Being that you are from Virginia, tell us what is the state of Hip-Hop there? How would you title your style of music?

There are some great artist from around my area, but most artists move out of the area to pursue their careers. Me, I like it here, this is my home. Richmond is a big market for rap, with VCU being there. I like to think of my style as more of a witty, punchy type rapper. I like hidden bars and story telling.

4) With your most recent music single “Games” which by the way is Crazy NICE. Can you give us some details on how you came up with that song?

Well, we have all been hurt in the past, I really wanted to bring that out in this song. I used my past knowledge of failed relationships to craft a song where you can feel the emotions.

5) Where can your fans & supporters find you online? Via Twitter, Facebook, etc.?

I can be streamed under EerieG on all platforms, and you can connect with me on Instagram and Twitter @eeriegmusic

Social Network Links.

6) Who are some of your influences?

I listen to alot of Juice Wrld, The Kid Laroi, and young thug. I like to think that I tie in elements from those artist into my music.

7) Any Last Remarks?

I’m thankful for the opportunity to be interviewed by you guys! Feel free to message me on any platform, I love to connect with other artists and fans!
