Rapper DT and producer Dr. Conspiracy are Atlanta psychedelic hiphop group The Difference Machine, presenting the Mystery School remix of “New Pharaoh”, the lead single from The Psychedelic Sounds Of The Remix Machine. The “Pharaoh” remix comes courtesy of Jacksonville, FL producer/rapper Paten Locke, best known for his work with Edan and Dillon. The remix album is a series of reinterpretations of the songs on Difference Machine’s 2013 album The Psychedelic Sounds Of The Difference Machine (listen on Bandcamp) from producers Pudge, Dillon, Illastrate, Threepeeoh, Al Lover, Where Are We, Chris Hunt, Wake, Mr. Enok, Social Studies, DT, The Kill Fist and 10th Letter. The album features guest appearances from Reid Richards, Spytek and ATL rapper/producer Yamin Semali, DT’s partner in Clan Destined. Boasting a live band rounded out by Radley Fricker on drums, and Obeah on turntables, with visuals crafted by J. Smiley, The Difference Machine has toured with Del the Funky Homosapien, shared stages with Ghostface Killah, Madlib, Aesop Rock and Kool Keith, and is set to begin a tour June 17 with Homeboy Sandman. The Psychedelic Sounds Of The Remix Machine is out now on Psych Army Intergalactic Records.
