TBR Music Group Presents “Contact High”
The highly anticipated EP “Contact High” is being released on 12/31 from Houston’s own TBR Music Group. And yes VMG had a moment to sit down with the Texas team to find out what’s new what to expect from TBR.
1) What keeps you motivate when it comes to your music?
Our motivation has always been to create timeless music. No matter what style, genre, or topic our mission is always to set a high standard. TBR is an acronym for Truly Better Raps which is a representation of what goes into our creativity.
2) When you think of “Vintage Media Group”, what comes to mind?
A one-stop shop! I can find new talent, read news and interviews from industry peers, as well as get new trends on the lifestyle. Dope
3) Being that you are from Houston, what is the state of Hip-Hop there? How would you titled your style of music?
Houston Hip-Hop is legendary and still to this day has a huge mark on the industry. You hear rappers from every coast using cadences from the Houston style. Our music is hard to title as Spayc3 brings a organic energy and up-tempo rhyme scheme. On the other spectrum Chain$moke has a laid back mind altering smooth style. Will just chop it up to good music.
4) With your most recent EP “Contact High” is FIRE. I have been listening to it over and over… Really Like “Roll Up”… can you give us some details on how you came up with the EP?
From the first song on “Contact High” you get a grasp on the influence weed has on our music & lifestyle. The concept behind the EP is to put the fans into our mind state. Listening to music and hearing music can be two different beast. Roll yourself up a few blunts and let the music take you higher.
