Ryshon Jones – American Dreamless

0

A few weeks ago Philadelphia emcee Ryshon Jones let loose some news about a new project entitled Hope Is A Dangerous Thing. While you might look at it as a mixtape, EP or album, this is something he is simply referring to as a zip. He’s given us a few tastes off the project with the release of Three Kay & Poisoned Food For Thought, and today he drops off one last sample of what’s to come with a new cut he is calling American Dreamless. The song is produced by HighLeef and is solely based around the concept of “what does the american dream even mean anymore”. The zip was put together in the matter of weeks and is a collection of music that just came together effortlessly while in the midst of working on his next album Track Fifteen. Don’t call this a prequel though. Jones wants to make sure that you know this is in no way, shape or form connected to the project and is just something he had on his heart to give to his true fans. Look for it to feature 14 brand new songs, along with a digital poetry and look book. The good folks over at Mass Appeal will be debuting HIADT on Monday, January 14th.
