William Harness, who raps under the moniker Struggle Jennings, recently had a camera crew visit him in jail for what he told officials was a “standard documentary,” but he was actually filming scenes for his new music video.

“They sat there and asked him 20 minutes worth of questions, just as they would with any documentary about his life and different things like that,” said Davidson County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Karla West. “At the end they asked, as part of the documentary, could he mouth some of the words to his song and I allowed that. We were duped when it seems as though now, their purpose from the beginning was to try to get that accomplished so it could turn into a video, not a documentary at all.”

Struggle Jennings has since been relocated to another facility, but no legal action has been taken. Check out his video below.
