The Air Max line occupies a strange space in Nike’s modern running range.
It’s rare that the new silhouettes featuring full-length Air Max cushioning on bottom are touted as true performance sneakers, as shoes from the Pegasus, Structure, and Free lines already have that space covered. That doesn’t mean that they’re planning on slowing down with Air Max models though, a notion solidified here by the new Nike Air Max PacFly. The curious name might have some thinking Manny Pacquiao, but his logo isn’t visible anywhere on the design, so that seems like an unlikely connection. The Nike Air Max PacFly will release in 2015.
