The new “Grape” Nike SB Dunk High isn’t shy about its Air Jordan heritage.
The sneaker arrives in the tradition of pairs like the Nike SB Dunk Low “Space Jam” and the Nike SB Dunk Low “Concord,” which made very obvious references to Air Jordan designs. The Dunks here borrow from the Jordan 5 the transparent netting on the side, the nubuck material for the upper, and the icy soles on bottom. Interestingly, the sneaker owes more to the retro “Black Grape” colorway than it does to the original, white-based “Grape.”
According to Black Sheep skate shop, the “Grape” Nike SB Dunk High will be releasing soon.
