1. Dope DJ, how long have you been doing music?
I’ve been doing music for about 3-4 years. Released my first project in 2015 and just been 1 foot in one foot out but I’m tryna change that in 2018
2. Dope DJ, you are one of the dopiest artist in ATL. Breakdown the landscape of the marketplace?
Well, ATL is the music capital. Whatever you want is here, you have the trappers, the back back rappers, the club rappers, the scam rappers, the rich rappers, the broke rappers, just one big melting pop for rappers
3. Dope DJ, what are the pro’s and con’s of being an ATL artist?
Pros of being an Atlanta artist is the networking opportunities, it’s so easy to just run into anybody just being regular you know, in the studio, at Lennox, at the gas station. You’ll run into somebody famous. The cons: being slept on or over shadowed by all the star power in the city, it’s usually 1-2 new rappers who pop off from the city each year, you just kinda work hard until you get discovered or pop on your own
4. Dope DJ, breakdown the concept of 100,000 and how the record came about?
100,000 is just a fun record, came from a conversation me and one of the homies was having, he actually said 100,000 in the conversation, and I just made it a hot song
5. Dope DJ, Supreme Creme produced the track. How did you guys relationship come about and did he produce any other tracks for you?
Me and Supreme been cool for a few years, we actually started a label together, we came in together, I recently just separated myself from the pack & decided to do my own thing, but we have a whole project together “SupremeDope” and we always working so plenty more bangers coming.
