Last friday a group of men, dressed as Tibetan Buddhist Monks (who knows, they might actually be!) took to New York City’s Union Square as a tribute to deceased Beastie Boy member Adam Yauch a.k.a MCA. Playing various Beastie Boy tracks the ‘Monks’ were seen breakdancing in honor of MCA Day, an annual event marking the life of Adam Yauch, who was himself a Buddhist and died on May 4, 2012.
