I never thought that I would be more than a dude from Englewood. I knew my life was over before it started, Most of my friends were dead by 17. I got sick of my environment and the way I was living. I prayed and asked God to get me out of there. I was a high school dropout at 15. I got in trouble and sat down for 6 months and that’s where I made my mind up that if I had to live, the world was stuck with me. Their going to have to deal with me. I started making music in 09. A couple years later I linked with this girl named Tink and made a song. The song went viral and put money in my pocket so, I kept going. I slowly climbed over the span of 11 years. I got an opportunity to write with Rihanna. Artist started reaching out to to work with them out of the blue. Opportunity kept coming. I never wanted to let somebody own me. On my own I had a record hit billboard or go viral every year from 2012 to 2017 when I was in a car crash.. Over 10 million units. I held out and never settled for something less than a partnership. Roc Nation started a new company and it was perfect for what i’m doing.
Lately I’ve been getting into investing. I met Nipsey in 2012. Every since then, him and some other people I met influenced me to learn more about investing and stocks. Go beyond music. I remember sitting in the last row at a Bulls game. I said never again. I can’t play for the Bulls, but I can own them. I had an opportunity that fell right in my hands just by having a conversation. They started as a minor league soccer team and I figured get experience even though it’s not basketball. Now that team is in the pros. I’m only 27 and I get to vote on certain thing’s that happen within the team. A big stadium full of fans’, shows and everything else that comes with it and I own a piece of it. The music, my house, the team…I wish my mom was here to see it.
