On the heels of his first official mixtape release, Indian rapper Khil Datta is shaking things up in the industry. Having worked with many mainstream artists, Khil only has a few guest features on this project. He has commissioned Ohio’s own Machine Gun Kelly to be featured on the single “Big Bass” produced by Johnny Juliano. With the two MC’s spitting punch lines at rapid speed, it may be tough for the average listener to keep up. Juliano’s bass heavy backdrop provides the perfect environment for Khil and MGK to set a few things straight. “Big Bass” is a fast paced, high energy track with hard hitting 808’s showcasing some of the best talent Ohio has to offer.
Khil Datta also teamed up with M1 of Dead Prez to come up with the project’s second single, “Seein’ Life”. The track has an old school hip hop feel with a clear message on going the extra mile. Seein’ Life portrays how each artist on the track has a dual personality. As the song progresses, they rap about killing their weaker side off. As the hardworking side emerges, you realize that only you can choose what you see in life.
