Lately there has been a lot of negative press surrounding Kanye West. Earlier in the week West announced a new program where he partners with Rhymefest in conjunction with his own charity Donda’s House. Together they have launched a ten week course called “Got Bars”. The course is aimed towards at-risk youth in the South Side of Chicago, interested in music, writing and production. When commenting on the new initiative, Rhymefest stated: “Got Bars’ will change our youth musically, get them healthy and keep them busy in a creative, peaceful environment. I know it will be an even stronger program because of our partnership with the ARK of St. Sabina.” …Bet you didn’t see this story on the front page of your news paper.
