Minnesota native D’Meetri is sharing the code he’s living by with his new song “Bitch”.

Singer/Songwriter D’Meetri’s first release of 2017 is a delightfully irresponsible tune. Accompanied by producer Nicolas Ludwig, D’Meetri tells a brief series of unfortunate events followed by his attitude towards dealing with them.

“Bitch” is available for streaming and download on all major digital retail sites.

1) What keeps you motivate when it comes to your music?

What helps to motivate me is our generation. I feel like i was born in a time where we’ve seen a great deal of music icons come and go as well as creative geniuses developing new genres and new ways to make music. It helps me personally knowing how far we’ve come. My imagination of the possibilities on where we can go is a heavy motivator for me.

2) When you think of “Vintage Media Group”, what comes to mind?

When i think “Vintage Media Group”, what comes to mind is a convenient online database of what’s currently dope in Pop Culture and whats goin on in the Urban community.

3) Being that you are from Los Angeles, what is the state of Hip-Hop there? How would you titled your style of music?

I’m actually not from Los Angeles, I’m from the Twin Cities, Minnesota. I can tell you a bit about that scene. Seems to me that lately everyone is showing love to everyone. Which is a new behavior in the Hip-Hop scene in Minnesota. It was so dog eat dog when i was first coming up in it in the early 2010’s. Which actually isn’t that long ago.

I would describe my music as “Real”. One thing that i don’t do is inhibit myself. or hold back. If i feel a way i write about it. Candidly. And i think that that’s important for the artist as well as the listener. You can actually connect and it doesn’t feel forced or fake.

4) With your most recent music single “B*tch” is very creative, can you give us some details on how you came up with that song?

“B*tch” came from a place of frustration. I was dealing with a label that wasn’t handling me very well and i had just spent the summer in my hometown which suucckkeedd. It was like my 3rd day back in LA and i was just listening to some of my songs and i just got frustrated. So i started freestyling over guitar and “B*tch” was the result.

5) Where can your fans & supporters find you online? Via Twitter, Facebook, etc.?

You can find me in every nook and cranny on the internet

6) Who are some of your influences?

I have a million influences but i don’t sound like any of them. My influences coming from the perfect timing and efficiency of Michael Jackson and creative musical genius of Prince. Even the soul from Sam Cooke & Luther Vandross. It’s mostly the stories about these people that influences me. I just want to be great..

7) Any Last Remarks?

Thank you for taking the time to talk to me and thank you to the readers for peeping this post!
