Rapper and hip-hop entrepreneur, Hap St. Louis is known for his smooth, witty flow, and charismatic personality. Hap St.Louis was born Jose Witherspoon in St. Louis, Missouri. At a very young age he found a burning passion and real love for music and poetry. The St. Louis music scene was so diverse but because of his skills he was able to earn love and respect from some of the most talented and under-rated emcees as well as the heavy weights. After high school, he joined the US Army and was stationed overseas in Germany. While in the Army he continued to rap. He linked up with a host of different guys from all over the planet. He eventually started recording songs and was getting paid to rock clubs in Germany. He gained local recognition which ultimately got him noticed by a few labels overseas in particular, Def Jam Europe. He declined all offers and returned back to the states.
Fast forward, right now Hap St. Louis is moving at a very fast pace. From music to fashion to philanthropy and non-profit work, his ambition is to turn into a Global Brand. He and his business partner, Stephen C. Grant recently launched their online clothing company, TheroBred.
