New Music From Adam Reverie – Well Do Dat
Adam Reverie believes his gift of writing great melodies began in the womb when his mother would sit by the speakers of her radio and listen to the likes of Babyface and Force MD’s. Born February 17, 1986, Adam Anderson was always a fan of soul music’s rhythm and melodies. It wasn’t until he turned sixteen, when a friend introduced him to all the clever ways words could be structured into rhymes, that he became heavily interested in hip-hop. In his freshman year at Clark Atlanta University he began to take music seriously.
After seven years of studying, perfecting his craft and opening for the likes of Three 6 Mafia and Bizzy Bone, Adam recorded over 100 songs. In 2011 he won a Def Jam Showcase in front of President of A&R Lenny Santiago. In November 2011 he released his first mixtape titled “Love the Way I See It.” This mixtape reveals Adam’s mastery of lyricism and rhyming and his continued love for his R&B roots with soulful, melodic hooks sung by Adam himself and lyrics that tell stories of love, heartache and growing up in Motown.
Adam Reverie has found a unique voice and style that, together with his melodic tenor and meaningful subject matter make him an emcee that stands head and shoulders above the hundreds of thousands vying for hip-hop stardom. Add to the package a humble, easy-going personality and model good looks, when you see Adam perform or talk to him in person you’ll see he’s already a star just waiting for the world to take notice.
