Klutch Da Rebel announces a new song and video release for Friday, November 13. The long-awaited visual is a follow up to the song “Demons”. Switching up the vibes, Klutch describes the release “Pink Lemonade” as a commercial video which people of all ages and backgrounds can relate to. We were given a sneak peek of the video, and it truly gives a reimbursing feeling that LOVE IS REAL>
Khalil “Klutch Da Rebel” Cantey is a 25 year old conscious rapper/songwriter born and raised in Jamaica Queens, NY. His interest in music at a young age started from family playing Dr Dre, 50 Cent & Jay- Z. From those influences started his passion for music and then he discovered the likes of Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & J. Cole. With all of these influences Klutch created a sound for himself along with a group of friends and started a music group called Dope Rebels. Dope Rebels consist of Klutch and fellow artist Slyy Cooperstein along with other curators that creates a sound that the everyday person can relate to. This sound landed them on stages all over NYC such as SOB’s, The Knitting Factory and Pianos.
Klutch currently has a song called “Blu-Ray” and two music videos (“Young Rebels” & “Demons”) co-directed by him on iTunes and Youtube. Creatively, Klutch brings the full art experience, using visuals and sound to portray the message of self love and enlightenment.
