“Million Dollar Day” is presented by rapper / film-maker @EmbraceTheWave. The album embodies the plight of a young hustler rising from the midst of the struggle in the Murder Capital of New Orleans to emerge into the arena of financial freedom and economic empowerment, using the craft of hip-hop to reach these goals.
The project features appearances by Max B, Franchise Tief, Keith Jacobs and Donkey Badazz who is the cousin and label-mate of Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie. “I’m The Wãve because I’ve created waves for myself and others in the realm of music, film and fashion”, says the New Orleans rapper, “I’ve also given some the very foundation of their identities, i.e. Kevin Gates (Kevin Gilyard)”.
Aside from being the inspiration behind fellow Louisiana rappers like Kevin Gates and earning the approval of Harlem rapper Max B, The Wãve has also collaborated with urban clothing designer Roxxanne Montana (Drugs) to release the video for smash single, “DRÜGS (Do Right Ü Gain Success)”. Follow The Wãve as he takes you on an audible tour through the streets of New Orleans, and remember to have a Million Dollar Day.
