Emerging onto the scene with enduring rhymes and vibrant productions, Fresno’s own Sanghera made a name
for himself with electric live performances and his debut “Hell of a Night” mixtape. Striving to put raw feeling before agendas and fabrication, Sanghera aims to put to bed the tired notions of what the face of hip hop should look like. Drawing from musical influences such as Kanye West and MF Doom, Sanghera set out to create a cohesive and soulful sound on his first album, “Story of Staying Home.” More than two years in production and featuring a diverse list of producers and composers, “Story of Staying Home,” is an eclectic mix of grimy boom-bap, soulful R&B, and g-funk inspired synths. Currently performing live across LA, “Story of…” is already gaining groundswell in his native home state of California. Keep an eye out for Sanghera as he plans his nation wide tour for early 2015.
