Notion is a rapper from Salt Lake City, UT. At just 16 years old, Notion is poised to be one of the first Utah rappers to be seen on a National level. HIs style developed from a lifelong love of music and the guidance of mentors and inspirations like G-Eazy, Mac Miller, Ryan Caraveo, and Logic. His latest single and music video,”Goodbye,” raises awareness around the topic of suicide prevention, and factors that lead to suicide including drug abuse and depression.

Notion uses a gloomy and sad sound to draw listeners in, but ultimately offers hope and solutions by encouraging listeners to reach out to suicide hotlines to help them deal with any feelings of self harm. Just listening to the track is something to feel good about, Notion will donate 50% of streaming royalties to The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline this September. You can listen to “Goodbye” here. A music video for “Goodbye” will be available soon.
