We reviewed Queendom Come’s (Queen for short) EP back in the summer ’16, and our favorite single off the project has made some of the industry’s top dj’s and choreographers’ playlist. “Lucky No. 8” produced by Detroit’s KMakehitz is a female hustler’s anthem. Making it clear that she is not for the mess, but here for the bag, Queen has dubbed her self the “black mamba” in reference to one of her favorite athletes, Kobe Bryant, and one of her favorite movie series, “Kill Bill.”
Most recently, Queendom Come surprised us with a new single and video dropping on the same day to kick off her #GodBlessingalltheQueens17 movement. “SuperStar,” produced by upcoming producer JPGotzBeatz, is a smooth, sassy, sh-t talking tune with a sophisticated-sexy video to go along with it, featuring ladies of the Queen Gang, a brand that represents a network of female goal diggers including models, photographers, dj’s, dancers, business owners, students, make-up artists, hair stylists, bartenders, designers, entertainment managers and more.
We caught up with Queen and asked what her ultimate goals are with her music career and she responded: “The ultimate goal is to position myself to continue the dream thru the next Queen, and the current Queens to understand that the vision lives on when you’re unselfish, and remain true to yourself.”
Make sure you keep up with this rising #Superstar because we have our eyes and ears ready for what’s next from Queendom Come.
