When we think of New York, we automatically picture the cityscape of NYC. But the boroughs of New York City aren’t the only breeding grounds for Hip Hop. Noetic, a Beacon NY-bred rapper/producer is determined to change that perception. Even after re-locating to Washington DC in 2012, Noetic’s sound is clearly inspired by his home state.

Hip Hop was always an essential part of Noetic’s life thanks to his father, Kid Nice; a Hip hop artist from the early 1980s. Gradually over time, Noetic found his own passion for Hip Hop. After releasing a slew of mixtapes in the early 2000s, Noetic afforded the opportunities of performing alongside Juelz Santana, Fabolous and Vado. A year in Washington DC, Noetic also released his first independent, self-produced studio album, “Every State of Mind.”

Earlier this Summer, Noetic released a new mixtape titled, “MR.25/8” on DatPiff.com. Without any previous promotion, Noetic officially releases the first single off “Mr.25/8” in honor of #MusicMondays.
