This would have been a HORRIBLE look for everyone involved (Nas, Jay and Hot 97), so it’s a great thing Hot 97 infamously put the kibosh on the act in 2002 and made for a crazy war with Nas that night as he went to rival station Power 105 to then diss them. Nas appeared on the Summer Jam stage this year for the first time since that scheduled appearance ten years ago.
