“When I vote, people get emotional”
Sway responded to the shade thrown at him and makes it clear that though he is the creator of the annual MTV’s Hottest MC list, he does not vote…and admits that Kanye did indeed give him his first television, BUT there is more to the story. He also says that he happens to still have that very TV. So how does this list get made? A group of people at MTV who stays involved in the hip-hop arena comes together and each make up a list for who they think are the top 10 Hottest MC’s of the year based on certain criteria. They then combine lists together, figuring in averages and essentially do a vote. Make sure you check out the audio below.
