Mary J. Blige Was Depressed Over Burger King Commercial

Everyone laughed…some in horror, some in disbelief…when Mary J. Blige’s crispy chicken ad for Burger King surfaced earlier this year. Dubbed as a “disgrace” to her culture, it was quickly pulled after meeting MUCH criticism online in just a couple days, and MJB spoke out to say that wasn’t the final edit. Since then, she’s stayed mum on the topic, but finally opened up to Angie Martinez on Hot 97 yesterday.
