While Australian model-turned-singer LX LAWLESS is quite possibly the sexiest thing youd’ll see today, her music is an even bigger slap in the face. Being compared to the likes of FKA Twigs but with smooth vocal layers and catchy hooks, Ms LAWLESS is set to make waves with her debut single “Echo.”
Co-writing with renowned dance/electro producer Jay Jacob (Wyspr Records), LX spent much of 2014 sculpting her sound and finding her groove (which clearly drips with sass and sex). With a minimalistic structure, experimental sounds and a dark R&B pop vibe, the vocals of “Echo” are transportive and seductive.
Working with some of the top producers in Australia, LX is one of those rare artists who has driven and steered her career independently. Growing up in the western suburbs of Sydney and modeling since a young age, LX was always adamant on being in the entertainment industry and quickly become thick-skinned and tenacious. This comes through in her music and artistry.
With two releases soon to follow, the debut EP from LX LAWLESS is one to look out for, listen to and inevitably obsess over.
