King Tatie (Africa: Promotional + World Tour)

King Tatie is a musical talent that will surprise you in more ways than one. She is a rapper, actress, singer, songwriter, and model from London whose talent only continues to grow. She has a strong passion for performing and her music shows it. Even at such a young age, she has won awards, gone on tours, and worked with many big names in the industry.

In 2012, King Tatie embarked on a promotional tour in Africa, after releasing her first debut single, “This is How We Do It”, from her A King and Her Krown EP. She presented and performed at the Zim Hip Hop Awards, in front of a crowd of 2000 spectators. King Tatie also opened for Ice Prince, she did a commercial for Nugget Shoe Polish, and she had radio and TV interviews with their top networks ¬– ZiFM Stereo, StarFM, PowerFM, and YGT Live on ZBC TV. As well as making public appearances, King Tatie was a front cover feature for Zim Herald, where she had two articles written about her as well as a review for “This Is How We Do It”, which was rated four out of five stars. King Tatie is a very talented artist who is really able to connect with the crowd. King Tatie not only worked on her musical career while in Africa, she also took time out of her very busy schedule to visit the Zimbabwe Orphan Care. She gave the children gifts, performed for them, and played with them.

King Tatie has achieved a lot for such a young female entertainer, and she’s only getting started. Due to the success of her promotional tour in 2012, King Tatie returned to Zimbabwe again in 2014 as part of her World Tour, where she revisited the major radio and television stations, and performed at the Chitungwiza Music Festival and Boma Festival in Victoria Falls. Following her festival performances, King Tatie flew out to Mozambique, where she did a live interview with Music Box, one of Mozambique’s most popular television music networks. King Tatie did not return back to Africa empty handed, however, as she arrived with new material: her King of Spades EP, which included 3 remixes with artists Soulja Boy, Nicki Minaj, Ashanti, Future, Rick Ross, and A$AP Rocky, as well as several new original tracks. Upon returning to Zimbabwe, King Tatie received great news that her single and EP received a total of 216 plays on the radio, with 201 of those rotations being requested from the general public. King Tatie is a name that just keeps getting bigger and bigger, and we’re excited to see what’s next in store for this phenomenal teenager.
