After losing the battle to chronic lymphocytic leukemia, jazz musician George Duke died at age 67 in Los Angeles California. George Duke’s career started in the 1960’s and dates all the way up until his death. He has done collaborations with Jill Scott, Micheal Jackson, Miles Davis and more. This list of Hip-Hop artists whom have samples his music is never-ending but includes Kanye West, Erykah Badu, and Ice Cube just to name a few. George Duke released his final album July of this year entitled Dreamweaver, which hit number one on Billboard’s Contemporary jazz chart.
