Rejoice, hip-hop world — Gucci Mane is officially home!
Ever since September 30th, 2013, Gucci Mane has been locked up for firearm possession by a convicted felon, disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon, and marijuana possession, among other crimes. There’s been several times since then that Gucci was supposed to get released, and while we knew it was happening this year, we didn’t know today would be the day.
Earlier today, Gucci’s girlfriend Keyshia Kior took to her snapchat to post a video of her holding Gucci’s hand with the message “reunited.” After that, we followed up with DJ Holiday, a frequent collaborator of Gucci’s, who confirmed to us that he is in fact home.
Gucci will be on house arrest for a few months — not a halfway house like some people have started to say — and then will be on probation following that.
We can’t wait to hear what Gucci’s got planned for us. All we know is we’re beyond excited. Welcome home, Guwop!
