As soon as I heard this track, I knew I had to remix it. I’ve always been fascinated with ninjas, anime, and Japanese culture in general since I was young, so when I heard how the track embedded ninja culture into a love song, I was hooked. Needless to say, StrypeZ did his thing on the track, always has and always will. But what really hit me was how the 8-bit sounding synths and Doja Cat’s zenny spaced-out vocals all created a warm environment that, strangely enough, gave me the impression of both a love song and scene out of a 90s ninja flick. Essentially, a ninja love ballad. I tried to match the feel of the track with my verse and just add my little two-cents into the mix of what StrypeZ and Doja had already established. And I think I did an ok job, I’ve gotten all positive feedback on the track.
