Bonni3 Feat. F.E.A – Wake Up
With her current projects, Bonni3 just finished placing her verse for the New hit video game “Call Of Duty Black Ops 3” placement is only the start for this very talented, and sexy femcee. Other projects like “The Heat Is Boiling” with Royell Vuitton and Whiteboii and her most recent music video being shown on “MTV Jams” is on the way, which is being shot by LCP studios in Florida. VMG had a brief moment to sit down with Bonni3 and find out what next and wakes her up.
1) What keeps you motivate when it comes to your music?
Music has always been the only thing that keeps me truly happy, staying motivated is not difficult. Everyone has bad days, but showing the world along with my family that I can be successful doing what I love is my mission and motivation.
2) When you think of “Vintage Media Group”, what comes to mind?
When i think of Vintage Music Group I think of international media and talent.
3) Being that you are from Woodbridge,VA to Port Saint Lucie, FL what is the state of Hip-Hop there? How would you titled your style of music?
Very different here! But hip hop is everywhere. Here in Port Saint Lucie the level of Hip Hop drastically decreased. Coming from the DMV area I was heavily influenced by trap music, but even with that i have always had my own sound. My genre is a mixture of trap, R&B and true hip hop.
4) With your most recent music single “Wake Up” is SMOOTH… can you give us some details on how you came up with that song?
Thank you, that track was one of the first track I ever recorded. A producer who has done scores for animal planet and VH1 name Riff Double O noticed me on Instagram and sent me a few free beats. I immediately vibes to that track, I wrote that song in 15 minutes with passion and a few beers.
5) How did the placement on “Call Of Duty Black Ops 3” come about?
I was networking and became very close with Royell Vuitton the same businessmen who helped put the Migos on, he asked me to be on the track with him.
6) Who are some of your influences?
Lauryn Hill, Jay Z, Remy Ma
