In anticipation of the upcoming release of “The Color of Sound”, APSPDR+ (r.O.b’s Main Producer) is offering a free download of his re-imagining of “I Could Be The One”, the hit collaboration between Nicky Romero and Avicii. Whereas the original version is geared more for a bigger sound typical of those artists, APSPDR+’s version is more atmospheric, leaning in the chillwave direction that is characteristic of APSPDR+’s signature production style. Conceptually, the music video for the original hints to a abstract, deeper meaning behind the song than one might initially notice upon listening to the track. APSPDR+’s reinterpretation, however, seems to create an ethereal soundscape perfect for this sort of introspection.
