Sky 7th – It Don’t Cost Nothin’ [VMG Exclusive]
I was having a long day of filming, directing, & transitioning from one location to another. I then received a text from Sky with “no subject” titled for the message. There was
photo of his album art for his next project, which was titled “It Don’t Cost Nothin”.

First thing that came to mind when I saw the album cover was “DAMN” who is his graphic designer, because the album cover reminded me of “Art” instead of the typical “Cut & Paste” graphic work. (Early No Limit Records Album Art) “Intrigued & ecstatic” was the first two thoughts when I actually got to hear the album. With a creative choice in production & patience Sky 7th has made another Hip-hop favorite.

“It Don’t Cost Nothin” (IDCN) is a true Hip-hop album. With no snippets, gimmicks, no catchy hooks or flash, IDCN gives you just talent. The fact that artists like Sky who still believes in the true essence of Hip-hop makes “Vintage” feel like the current. 17 total tracks, with all original production which makes this an album instead of a mixtape. A very talented & informative artist that has gained the respect from other artists within the Midwest area shows that when he chooses to speak, people tend to listen.

With time I think Sky 7th will be heard on a much larger platform which then will not only reach the Midwest but more like the masses.
