Fabrashay A – The Art Show
I receive quite a few emails and messages from various artists in various states, in reference to being the next artist on VMG The Choice section. And to be honest I am very picky on who I feel should be placed on the site. I mean first I have to like the music that you are making, producing, or writing and if you make music I cant listen to for more than five minutes then why support or promote it.
So when I listen to The Art Show, I was enlightened by the quality and talent that the mixtape provides, but before that occurred I was amazed by the artwork of the CD cover. Very artistic & creative, which got me that much more excited to listen to the mixtape, than when I first heard about it. I notice that the Artwork was done by an artist named Ariel. (http://keturahariel.com/) being that the mixtape cover was eye catching I went to Ariels website to checkout if there was any other artwork there. It was a viewers pleasure to see some of the other artwork that Ariel has done, check out the site and see for yourself, Good Stuff. So after checking out Ariel website I went ahead and download The Art Show While Downloading the mixtape I went to http://www.milknsyrup.com/) to read up a little more on Fabrashay A, to get his whereabouts, current news, etc… After checking out the site, my download of the mixtape was done and ready. Listening to the mixtape, I personally was able to relate and gather various situations, and moments in which I felt he was speaking about first hand, as if he is speaking on situations and moments in his personal life. This to me makes an album/mixtape genuine in my eyes and that to me is so much more satisfying than just making music.
After listening to The Art Show I was highly pleased with what I heard from Fabrashay A and hope to more soon from the up and coming artist. With his creative tones, and selective music choices Fabrashay A is someone who can be seen as one of the Midwest Best Hip-hop Artists.
